Theophilus Parsons Papers, 1788-1797.

Theophilus Parsons was a lawyer, a justice of the peace, a judge, and ultimately Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. This collection consists of a letter dated Newburyport January 16, 1797 to Mr. Sheaffer regarding a legal matter with Mr. Gardner and legal papers (1788-1789).
